Well I broke down and bought a new monopod with new head
Manfrotto 680B w/ Manfrotto 3265 pistil grip......cant wait to take it out, but rainning here in So Fl for the past 3 days

I've got a monopod and could never use it effectively. When I look through the viewfinder, I still wobble around like a drunken sailor. :)

Nice shots of the birds here Brian especially the egret with the open beak. I do find the OOF fence behind it a bit distracting though. Still a good capture.
