nice timing and cropping/framing on these. #1 appears overexposed. you seem to be backfocused on #3, maybe it's just the DOF (the attacking player is OOF while the net and part of the GK are in focus). otherwise i like 'em. keep posting, you're improving.

#1 is overexposed (at least the grass is... it was back lighted placing the players faces in shadows ... so I choose to have faces with noses and eyes rather than nice green pitch.) The attacking player is OOF but the goalie is sharp ... the goalie was my center of interest. I shoot wide open to create as much isolation as possible..
Thanks for looking and posting.

Gary, what I'm looking at is the relative sharpness between the GK's gloves for example and the net and turf behind his head. It just looks to me like the AF locked on the netting perhaps. Look at the net and esp the turf - it's sharp quite a bit behind the keeper, sharper than the subject (gloves, ball, maybe face), at least it seems that way to me.

mmmmhhh ... maybe ... but I think it's more motion blur on the gloves than OOF ... but looking really close I thinks it's a combo of motion and OOF (more motion than OOF but still a tinge of OOF). Yep, you are right on that call ... the net is definately sharper than the goalie.
