Amitch great shots, were you shooting from spectator areas?
i am traveling to ruapuna for the nz v8's in November and am wondering if the fences are all like the ones at pukekohe (the high wooden fences) or if they are like over here in Australia (short chain link fences)?

All good, but there is something about No3 that I just like. Can't tell you what it is yet - need to keep looking

you will ok fences are not so bad here.. try to get to the hairpin corner or the final bend before pit entry / front straight..
not so far away and chain fence with big openings.
see you there but i will be on the other side... ;)

No, the fences are all wire with big gaps, ideal to shoot through. The viewing are at the end of the back straight / hair pin will give you the best spot.
