I'd say it's poetic. Nice colors and detail rich. A CPL might have helped on the flare a little but I sense that you wanted that to help tell the story. I only mention it since I found it distracted me a little from some of the detail. All in all, a great shot and the fact that you put that kind of thought behind it is really what differentiates a photographer from a picture taker. Nice work and have a great trip!
