this is a few photos from a place I "visited" called "The Nike Missile Factory." They used to make missiles there a while ago (really?) and now its abandoned

These aren't my best photos, mostly because i did not have a tripod.

The first one is excellent. The rest are dark. I usually dont use a flash but i find using one in abandoned buildings not only brightens it (obviously) but it also can give a very spooky look. You should definetly go back with a tripod and/or a flash (or onboard). It looks like a great place to explore with some great opportunities. Nice job though.

interesting to me even if they are dark shots. i grew up near a Nike site in Western Cleveland Oh. I remember Army trucks bringing in the new Hercules missles to replace the older ones. A little scary growing up in the Cold War when things might go boom. Our Nike site today is a park with no missels and baseball/soccer fields on top of the doors.

Yeah lack of a tripod made it hard for bright pictures...but i like them dark. Yeah this place is strange, i cant believe this place is open liek it is.

I really like the first shot. Very ominous sky. I can remember sneaking around the abandoned nike site in my hometown. We were able to get down inside one of the silos. I wish I had a camera back then!

love the fist one, especially the ominous feel to it. I would crop the person out though, just seems to lessen the desolate effect to think anyone else was actually there. spooky for sure. nice work on the clouds.

I like them all, even if they are dark. My favorite one is the one with the chalkboard. I love how it gets really dark on the right side. Great shot.

Number one wins for me, other than the human on the steps, that i don't like, but the dark clouds and the "scarey" building are great together.

you guys are brave for even going in there alone! there could have been homeless people living inside and you could have been mugged!

I really like the first picture, and the second is very good as well. However, the last pic just seems like there is too much dead space in it. Nice job on the others! ;)
