How do you guys like it? I have it and I think it's neat to have the portability instead of, having a huge box in my living room. Of course, you're limited to size. Another gripe I guess is the light source being too low.

I bought the ebay foldable light tent. I'm completely aware of the fact I can build my own but I liked the ability to pack it away and transport it. If you value portability, and/or easy packing, it would work for you.

Yeah, I built one myself and was like cool. But then the box sat in my living room nowhere to really store it. Portability was nice.

Yeah I have a very similar item, bought a while back from Maplins, mine literally looks identical and is the same size, though I didn't pay anything near that price (and considering I'm in the UK that's very unusual)

i bought one like it from maplins (in the UK) for £9.99 - they were on sale. i've not used them yet as i moved house shortly after getting them and i still don't have lights to light it. tho i have 2 flashguns now i could use.

I'm simply too cheap to buy one but as already said, if portability is needed, it'd be easier to buy one. Then again, with a little more time and effort, you could build one that breaks down. I put together a real small one in my basement so it's out of the way. I'll probably build a larger one when I sell anything bigger on Ebay.

I made a frame using 1/2" PVC pipe, some 90 deg elbows and a few "T's"and covered it with a sheet I bought at walmart. I haven't tried it outside, but it should be real easy to break down and transport because I didn't glue anything.
