Here are a few photograps i took of a race.

The photographs was shoot with a 100-300mm lens..very cheap.

Nice, the top one IMHO would be a tad nicer with out the pleasure boat in the BG. But I like them both, the helicopter adds to the shot for me. Good job

Good shots. Would be nice to get just a bit more 'reach' (500) and isolate individual boats. Getting a lift in the chopper would be ...................... Nah - too hard!!

i agree! you should be able to easily clone out the boat in the bg, and i think if you cropped out the foreground it would look a lot better!

great pics though . . . i love the second shot!
