Battery Pack for FLASH 580 EX II

I am told u can get a battery pack for your external flash - 580 ex series 2.

Man, i must have been livinbg under a rock, ?

i dont see how u can have a battery pack attached to the actual flash when its on the camera?


or - can u do this by plugging it into power source?

no - im not talking about the grid - camra pack battery either.

you can use a canon cp-e4. or quantum or equivalent. they plug into the external power socket via a cord. you then have to find somewhere to put the battery :D
