Hello!

Here is a badly scanned from negative, but anyway I would like your opinions on this photo.

Thanks!

They are not bad shots aside from the obvious work needed to repair the images. I would have liked to see all of the horses, legs and all to create the suspense of the actual race. Something that the crowd would have seen.

I disagree. True, the shot is not spectacular or really dramatic, but it doesn't want to be that. It wants to show rivalry and that it takes a team to race, a man and a horse

good composition, i like it as it is, but you might wanna get a better scanner or do a lot of post processing.

the angle seems poor to me...maybe they were too close when you snapped the shot, but I am also not use to horse pictures from that side either

this side is the best place to be in a race, because you´ll be very close to horses, and you can take them coming to you, in fact if you place yourself in the other side, the result will be a side shot -a far away shot....

Image is great, but the quality sucks. You obviously have talent, maybe better equipment or something.

he is on the wrong side though...most great horse are taken from a fairly low level on the outside rail...

when i see a photo from the inside rail, it feels really odd to me for some reason...
