Hi, this is my first post here:) Here is a night heron and a merlin. I have been lucky enough to have the herons in our pond thru the summer and the merlin is one of the migrating raptors passing thru our area.

Yes Welcome. Both are super shots the Merlin is my favorite, and just a totally different pose on the merlin. Good stuff keep it coming.

The merlin is really a nice capture...I like the fanned tail. Nice work.

The tail is what drew my attention as well! Nice shot despite the steep angle. The first shot would have been perfect if not for the background tree...
