More WTCC Pictures + New Member!

Hi all. Just found this forum and looks like there are some pretty good photos here! I recently made the upgrade to a 30D from a Minolta Dimage. Since its the end of the racing season I just got the body and I'm reusing my kit lens from my old Eos 500 for the time being (28-80) and I'll decide which telefoto to buy next year. (all about spreading the cost!)

I was also at Brands Hatch at the weekend trying out the new camera, and I was pretty pleased with the results despite the short lens! Here are a few highlights:

This crash was on the first lap. I was over the bridge in the grassy area inside druids.

This shot was actually a bit of a mistake because the front of the lambo is chopped off - but in the end I really like it!

This Aston had blown its engine or something - I think it had been in a smash - this was just on the entrance to the pit lane

I like the side shot of the Ferrari.

The first shot i recall as i watched the race on tv think its Larini in the Blue Chevy.

I like the shot of BMW 31 on fire. I notice that flames were coming out the exhaust at the end of paddock hill bend so i tried and i tried but i didn't get any luck. My 350D is not fast enough. But i remember i saw something similar in the viewfinder !
