I ordered the CP-E4 (plus a spare battery clip) form Adorama on Friday (September 21st). It arrived at my office yesterday. I am very satisfied with the service. The package was sent FedEX -Priority International. I had to pay the courier the for the usual Canadian taxes plus a $7.00 charge (rural/small town delivery). I saved about $200 from the Canadian sellers.

I haven't had a chance to use it; but tommorrow and Friday I am attending a seminar at which I will be taking casual picutres of the participants and presenters. I will give it a bit of a work out. I have a wedding in two weeks so I will know more then. I will be using it extensively for rehearsals with my local theatre group. I shot lots of photos at our rehearsals, so we have lots to choose from for advertising, website, etc.

I will update the forum as I use the battery pack.

I have the CP-E3, mate has the CP-E4, essentially the same thing. I've never needed to change batteries at a wedding, recharge time is 2sec max, I often do off camera flash into an umbrella which uses a bit of power. Use NiMH batteries not alkaline, NiMH are more powerful.

NiMH work great and will save you a LOT of money if you use flash much. Other might give you very slightly better performance. 1.2V is fine, they're designed for it. Try it and see.
