S30/S40 timestamp

I just noticed something weird about the timestamp on my files. My S30 is synchronized with my computer, so both show 12pm as the time. When I take a picture, the Exif data shows that it was taken at 12pm. But when I look at the Date Modified in Windows Explorer, it says 1pm.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? In the ZoomBrowser Canon Camera window, the file shows up as taken at 1pm.

It's not that big a deal. More of an annoyance than anything. I'm just baffled, because the Exif data is correct and the Date Modified is not.

Perhaps Date Modified is the date and time that the file was downloaded to your PC.

It probably has to do with the Daylight Savings Time settings in Windows, or possibly on the S30. I know Windows has some problems in handling DST so I would check this. (Don't have my camera with me to check it out, but I'll try it at home.)
