I normally have my sharpness and contrast cranked down for wildlife and landscape shots. I usually manipulate each shot in dpp and photoshop that I want to keep. What is the best settings for a wedding? contrast, sharpness parameterss, color matrix, noise reduction...also does anybody use special tone curves? if so how do I get them loaded from my software? I'll think of about 50 more questions soon Thanks;)

I would shoot RAW (if you don't already) and stick to manipulating these things in your PP programs, unless you need the shots right out of the camera for some reason (ie, on site printing where your computer may not be available). Looking forward to hearing the rest of your questions :)

Also, read the stickied Wedding FAQ as well (if you haven't already read it), it may answer questions you didn't even know you had :) Tim did a great job preparing it and it is full of useful information.

Yes I shoot raw. I guess I haven't seen camera settings in the faq. When I'm going for a print or shooting furniture, I only have to keep a few or a dozen shots. Since this is my second wedding, I didn't want to have to spend months and months and months (slightly exagerated) trying to get a good look. Thanks Ben
