These were taken from my hide against my new feeder setup which is working well and gives me a nice background and better setting for the birds. All taken with Canon 30D and Canon 100-400L IS.

Looks like you have a nice setup with good results. Now if you send me some of those, I'll send you back some house sparrows. ;)

Very nice shots Mikey.

You captured the personality perfectly. I'm going to set up a perch against a nice background this weekend to try and improve my shots.

It will be a miracle if I get anywhere near the quality of these.

You had some harsh light here, but managed to keep the brights in check - well done! The third shot is my favorite here...
