One taken late in the day - sun had just dropped below the tree line.
Please tll me which shot you prefer and why?
Thanks.

On my monitor, the couples faces look out of focus to me.

Yeah! Wow. Love the tone. I love warm images, this one is balanced nicely, to my taste. I think that they will love it.

I love the warmth! Although, I wish that rail wasn't in front of them. =)

Did you make two layers and then combine? The size of the tree is distracting in the background due to the mild bokeh. I'd also disappear the black cable/wire that's just under the handrail both in the front and rear. It's distracting.

Thanks for the feedback.
Kareena - definitely sharp in the larger image - looks ok to me on screen here too.
Amanda - I do have plenty at this location, including without the rail and from the front of the steps. Thanks for the comment
Wayne - Just one layer and only at a proof stage with the image. That is why I am asking for feedback as I quite like it. Thanks for picking up on the black wire - cloning definitely required there. I actually like the way the tree frames the shot, but I have some without it being so 'dominant' in the background.
What do others think?
Thanks again for the feedback.

Nice photo, sharp here, I find the foreground objects (plants/planters) a bit distracting. My style is to get in close though.

Nice tone love the shot but the front rail and flower pot look alittle bit more in focus to me than the couple do.

Def #2, because I can see the people. Maybe slightly warm but is very cool. If you have ACR i'd turn on some highlight recovery.

Number 2 is very nice, nice bokeh and nice expressions from both people ... I would include both for the client though because its anyones guess which one they will prefer.

Number 2 is the winner for me. Nice and sharp, tight and close and the DOF is great! Well done. I love the warm tone too.

Like the picts, sunset offers so much flavor. Pictures with hats are so difficult. I try to lift the brim a little as not to hide the eyes. They will love these.

Thanks for all the feedback - I really appreciate it.
This couple was really special and I loved her classic dress with the long veil.
Cheers,
Chris

I like the first one, provided you offered few close-ups as well. It gives a great sense of the environment and the color temperature works well with the balustrade's shape. The tree above is too much but you can't crop it out without affecting the elements on the sides.
