Should i buy Photoshop Elements 2.0?

Would it be wise to buy it know, or is there going to be 3.0 coming out soon? I don't wanna buy something and then find out that it is already out of date. Thanks for ur time.

I think You should just buy it if You need it. Just because a new version comes out it does not render the current version useless. And usually companies will give You a special upgrade price if You purchased the old version just prior to the release of the new version. If that applies to Adobe I don't know and I don't know if there is a version 3 on the way. You could try giving Adobe a call or send them an email to ask, they are probably more likely to know than any of us here in the forum :wink:

I guess it would depend on your level of expertise and what you want to do with your Photographs. I have been using my digital rebel and Elements 2.0 for about 8 months and consider myself an experienced beginner. I would reccomend Elements to someone with little experience, it is cheap compared to the higher versions and it is a great tool. ope that helps.........
