Comments are very welcome. Don't hesitate to be negative if you think it's not a good shot. Thanks.

Well -- wait until you re 65 and see what you define as Old Age! Maybe solitude -- but not old age.. this guy could be on his way to a game of bridge!

The image is very nice. Photclub meets with this as an entry would look for more contrast (I think). It is a tad soft.

I tend to prefer faces -- but this is a classic shot and fine as it is.

Once I would have called thig guy old . . . .bu tnow he's just older than me.

I'd guess he wouldn't venture out in a high wind with those ears though!

Great shot, I really like this, the way the man is walking off alone, and the path creates interest too. Maybe just needs a little bit of photoshop to bring a bit more tone into the b&w, which is hard to do (I can never get it right!). It looks very good as it is anyway.

I think it's a pretty good shot, I like the angle and positioning. As said, I think a little more tweaking with the contrast should make it better.

Check your levels - that's all I've altered on the image and it seems to look a lot better - hope you don't mind me doing so.

Age is just a number anyway!

Nice shot, but it certainly doesn't convey lonliness, as noted by others.
That could be an image of me in a few years, and I'm not lonely. Also,
the man is too well dressed and appears too healthy to be anything other
than happy for one so old. But, I suppose, you could be right, but there's
no face with an expression to help us tell one way or another.
