I went out to take some pictures of my friend's CB7, I was trying to blur the background, but it did not work. only one of the pictures has the blur background. Can someone help me out. thanks.

The setting was Mode: AV
ISO: 100
F-stop: F/4.0

you'll have to get the vehicle farther away from the background in order to completely blur it out

ib2loud is correct, and use f2.8 or F4 or CHEAT if you have to.

You can do a better job than this in Photoshop.

Get closer, use your 50mm, and shoot at f2.8. This should get you bg blur.
