I found this little guy just hanging out. He was just there relaxing in the sun. This one is my favorite.

Both lovely shots - just need to be a touch sharper I think. He is a nice colour :-)

I agree. They could have been a bit sharper. I love using the 1D for everything except for maybe macro. It seems a lot harder to focus with it. I think Im going to use the 20D for macro. I think the cropped view is probably easier to see what is going on with the focus.

Assuming you use manual focus, have you tried auto focus? Manual focus doesnt always work for everyone, I almost exclusively use auto focus - have developed my own technique on how I use it though but it works well for me. Give it a go if thats not how you do it :)

I sure will. I have always used auto. Lately I have been trying manual just because it seems like the Sigma I have does not like going down to 1:1 magnification. Maybe its just me. I'll give it a go and figure it out. Thanks Linda.
