I like taking pics of my grandkids [5 of them with # 6 on the way] and of family vacations. Took my first ever sunset pics last weekend. I've had my Canon S3 since april and i still have a lot to learn about it. I love looking at pictures and can only dream of taking pics half as good as the ones i've seen here.

We recently ourchased S5 IS for work, and I have enjoyed using it, the image quality is out of this world. Seems like I am most happy when I have some type of camera in my hands....Look forward to seeing some posts of the Grandkids....

I just PM'ed Jon on his suggestions for a good P&S. He has the A620 or A630 and loves the swing out LCD. I'm seriously looking for the another P&S for me as my 10 year old won't surrender his or else he can't find it. :( But it's also nice to keep a camera in my purse at all times.

And welcome! The S3 is a great camera. I wish I had the space for one.
