Does anyone have experience that can lend a few pointers? Are there tutorials available?
It would be greatly appreciated.

This relates more to movies, but might be a starting point.

Thanks Dale. I have that link to Pro Backdrops too. It slipped my mind. I am hoping there may be some tips from some people with hands on experience too.

Hi Conk, I have been using the backdrops for a couple of weeks now with some success and some problems. I have not been able to use the magic wand tool to remove the green screen as the tutorial explains to drag the new backdrop behind the subject [if anyone knows the secret please share] instead I have been using the magic eraser tool to remove the green screen and then drag the subject onto the new background. Heres an example of what I have been able to accomplish so far. http://community.webshots.com/photo/136993115/167720939pWpNhU There is quite a bit of touch up work to remove the green cast left after the transfer.[/url]

Sorry Mike but your link doesn't work. I know what you mean. I've always had that situation using the magic eraser. I was hoping to be able to find an easier way other than selecting the image and extracting it from the background. It's almost a waste of time using chroma key. I might as well do the selection process or use knockout which has excellent results. I thought using chroma key gave you fast and good results. I suppose not.

Ok Mike. I see your photo now. What you might want to do is use the pen tool or what I use is the selection tool and feather edge it by .50 pixels. The one problem I am having is green washing over onto my subject. Makes using chromakey kind of useless when I have to extract in this manner. I might just as well shoot against the bare wall.
