....Just wanting some general ideas on how much others are bumping the saturation during the RAW conversion from the 10D. I realize it will depend on the lens, and more importantly the photo itself, but....with your typical portrait with lots of skin tones and natural colors, maybe outdoors... What do you bump the sat. up to? ...20, 25?

I couldn't tell you the numbers. but I do often bump in conversion.. then maybe do so again in PS,.. but I find that the "RAW-Bump" looks lmuch better than doing so in PS.

Yes, I agree...I get much better results when I do it in the RAW conversion, rather than in PS. I was just curious what others considered a 'normal' bump from a RAW file.

I've my default set to +15, and generally speaking that is perfect. But I do tweak every setting for every image to get as close to what I want before converting into PS.
