Can someone help me with the installation of EE.
I've installed ee with the help of the installationguide and everything seems to work.
1. Zip EE
2. In add/connect.php i connnect to the database
3. Make a dir called gallery and put the images and thumbs in there.
4. Renam the input dir and move it to gallery dir.
5. move setup.php to galley dir and run it.
The D30 demo photo's works.
But when i create a new exhibition and create new paths for the thumbs in de path editor.
I can't see any of my pictures in the new exhibition i created.
I've tested the paths in a browser and they are correct. So whats wrong, or what do I wrong?
I use the latest mysql en PHP on a w2kserver with iis.
ps. sorry for my bad english

Hi,
Check these:
---------
If you don't see thumbs in exhibition editor
Open path editor and check that all thumb and microthumb paths (relative paths) are valid and a valid path is chosen in exhibition editor.
When you add a new photo there's nothing in chooser page
Open path editor and check that all thumb and microthumb paths (relative paths) are valid and a valid path is chosen in exhibition editor.
If you don't see thumbs in photo editor
Open path editor and check that all thumb and microthumb paths (URL) are valid and a valid path is chosen in exhibition editor.
If you don't see photos in editor's photo browser(list.php)
Open path editor and check that all thumb and microthumb URL's are valid.
If you don't see photos in public browser
Open path editor and check that all thumb and microthumb URL's are valid.
If you don't see a photo in public photo page
For that photo, see that one of the size paths has a variable name "default".
If you don't see a photo at all in public photo browser
Maybe that photo is set to "NOT DISPLAYED IN PUCLIC" in photo editor? If you want to make all photos unhidden in one command use the command 'MAKE ALL PHOTOS VISIBLE IN PUBLIC' in editor's photo browser.
A photo has disappered from an exhibition!
Maybe you deleted photo from another exhibition in photo editor or by multidelete? Remember that as you delete a photo alltogether, it will be removed from all exhibitions which were using it. See system messages.
You can use path functionality analysis tool (you find it under dropdown menu of path editor) to see if all the paths are functioning correctly without "not found" errors, and that you have remembered to have one default path for each photo.
NOTE: filenames with spaces and special characters might be problematic for some browsers. Replace spaces and hyphens with underscore _
---------
If you still have problems, email me the address to your input folder and I'll have a look.

Hi Pekka,
Can you give me a monkey proof installation guide?
Because i think i did the installation right but i can't see my thums and pictures.
I've copied the thumbs path directly to a ie browser and it works. So I know that the path are correct but ee seems to have a problem with it,
Maybe I do something wrong while installing ee.
I really want this to work ;-)

(just a note: we have evaluated this in email and it's an IIS setup problem - I really prefer Apache :) )
