awesome pics, may I ask what lens you used, nice and close up tight shots, love the concentration going on in photo 6 and the last one looks like it was pretty muddy out their on the field,

Its sand/gravel. I'd imagine a grass field in Ketchikan would be hard to keep un muddy.

By the way, you have a good bunch of kids there. I didn't get cheapshotted or held during the game (football) this weekend. That made me pretty happy compared to other teams we have been playing :).

I used my Sigma 170-500, its not the best for low ligh conditions like this, but at ISO 3200 and Neat Image and a decent exposure, you can get away with it sometimes....LOL

Yes, no grass fields here, We get 15 feet of rain and it wouldnt stand up to ANY abuse, much less that of a soccer game....LOL

Nice shots considering the weather. Your "micro" age group looks much bigger than our "micro" age group.

Its VERY normal weather for us, so the kids are pretty good at keeping reasonably clean.

Just 6. I didn't play any offense after first quarter. We did attempt a bunch of field goals though, so 1st unit had to go out for that.
