View Full Version : Quick Turnaround at Canon Illinois Service Center

Just wanted to pass along that I sent my Pro1 to the Elk Grove Village Canon service center on July 14 to see if they could do something about the slow responsiveness on focus and shutter release. The camera was delivered back to me today. I note that they "adjusted the focus and switched from single to continuous AutoFocus mode". The focus does seem improved. They also cleaned the dust inside the optics lens...but that's a different issue!!

By the way...my Pro1 serial number is 822XXX. If you want to see some low-resolution shots from it that were taken before it was sent for repair, here's the link:

Note that almost all of the daytime shots came from the Pro1. There are also some 10D and S400 shots mixed in.
