for my 30d? or what's a good (cheap) aftermarket charger....prefereably one that charges two batteries at once?
my 30d was sold in another market and it has two cords but neither fits a standard U.S. plug.
thanx,

Here is the Canon double charger: http://www.adorama.com/ICACAPS400.html
Or you can go with a Sterlingtek for only $14 and just buy two of them - that is what I did. This one comes with a car lighter adapter too which I have used numerous times.

thank you! that double is too expensive. two chargers would be better and that AC adapter might come in handy some day :D!

Surely it would be cheaper and easier to get a travel adaptor for the plug to make it fit US sockets? What plug has the lead got at the moment?

i listed the charger for sale on the sales forum today.

a gentleman told me the plug was standard for some laptops and even sent me a link to an ebay auction:

so i bought the cord for 4 bucks delivered and now i have my two chargers and perhaps the extra cords will come in handy later.
people on these forums are very helpful and i am very grateful for that :D!

The plug on the left looks like a continental one, the one on the right looks like an Australian one. You can easily but travel adaptors that will enable you to use them in the US. You could start by looking here http://www.travelwithcare.com/MainShop/149/UsefulExtras.html

thanx Roy but i already got a cord for $4. i figure that's less than what an adapter would cost....and i was trying to avoid using an adapter.
but thanx anyway!

If this isn't too late; I vote for this one from eforcity.com
It comes with a wall plug and a 12v car adapter plug as well:
