is there a rechargable batterie pack for the 580ex II please tell me any thing you now cause i need one thanks

Are you asking about batteries that you put inside the flash unit itself or are you asking about the external power packs that supply power to the flash via a long cord?

For batteries that go inside the flash, just about any AA-size rechargeable batteries will do.

If you want a power pack, you can get the CP-E4 (or CP-E3) which Canon makes but you have to load up your own AA batteries in them. I think they take 8 AA batteries. You can also get power packs which have built-in rechargeable batteries in them but they cost a lot more. Quantum is one company that makes serveral different varieties. They have the Battery series and the Turbo series of power packs.

ok thanks i was wanting an actual rechargable pack that connects with a long cord but i think ill get the cp-e4 and get rechargable batteries for that
