Some very nice shots, the two mk1 Escorts, The Cossack Escort and the flaming Quattro are my favourites.
IIRC where that Quattro is there is a lovely little but vicious yump, to catch out the unwary.

Wow, the owner must have had some real golden balls for that. Im really itching to get myself to a rally event. Would be a great laught, especially since the RS2000's dont run anymore.
As for the Bowler.........holy jebus they are sheet scary. I cant wait to ride in one again.

Great set of images and as for the Bowler 'zoomed' image that is almost vertigo making. Thye had Jason Plato driving one on last nights "Fifth gear" and that is oen crazy machine.
As you have Image editing allowed I just wanted to show you what I did to the flying Mk II (?) Escort
Here is your original
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e180/craigo1/car2.jpg
and here is my slight tweaking. In the original IMO the colours were off so I set the white and black points (the bright white spot on the rear near the light cluster & the black deep shadow on the extreme left of the image) then ran USM at 10:25:0 and then Smart Sharpen 21:0.9:0 resing for the web i.e. below 100kb has introduced some artifacts but I hope you like it and that it shows what si there to be brought out when working from the original file.

both cars sounded great but the Aston was having problems getting the power down with standard road tyres on.

I think that the company powerdrive and the investors that bought Aston Martin announced a while back that they'd be having a rally car ... is the one in here it by any chance?
Great photos too :)
