Thanks Bill....I have no idea of the names as usual. LOL!! I really am a dumb clutz when it comes to this. :oops: They a grow to be about 12-14cm in length.

LOL!! I know what you mean...I am still feeling my way around Bugguide. But If I know which species it is, I do a search and that narrows the field down quite a lot or else it takes you hours and many, many pages to sift through.

I have a lizard in my garden, but I it is extremely skittish. I'd love to get a picture of him, but have never managed to get close enough.
These don't look anywhere near as nervous.

Thanks Bernie. These have got used to people walking past their "patch" so the do disappear fairly fast but if one moved a bit slowly, you can get near enough to take some pics.

Thanks Pete...you do have to get very sneaky in order to capture them in pics. Then the pics are blurred by their running away. LOL!!
