New Gallery Need Suggestions for improvement

I know this gallery needs work but I would like to hear of things that are more annoying or I should look at first.

I'm using Gallery2 and this is the first time I've started making my own photo site.

Well, you have photos posted to an online gallery...so steps 1 & 2 are complete. It's 100% functional and 99% generic. In other words, apart from your photos, it could be anyone's gallery; there's nothing really making it uniquely yours. But that may be perfectly okay. Your next step is answering why you have a gallery: portfolio, sales, sharing w/ family/friends, etc. Once you know "why", you'll be able to determine how much time/effort/money you put into developing your gallery, and what direction it ultimately takes.
