For the life of me I cant seem to get my dual monitors to output the same colors. Both monitors were bought at the same time, so its not like one is older then the other. So I'm thinking about buying the Spyder2 Suite....Do you think I will be able to get what I'm looking for.?
TIA
Brian

I would like to think so. I bought the Pantone Huey, but I've only calibrated one monitor. I'd like to think it would calibrate each monitor and adjust settings for a uniform output.

Yep, hardware calibration is the best way to do this.

I have the express and it's fine for single monitor applications. If you need to calibrate dual/multi monitor setups, then it's better to step up to the Suite or Pro editions. I think the only difference is the software. I wish I just bought the Pro version in the first place.

You might need the hueyPRO for dual monitor setup.

Check out the Eye-One (Greytag) products. They are a little pricier, but one of the top products in the market:

I hardware monitor calibrators you get what you pay for. Cheap = non-inuitvie, difficult interface, not very accurate.

This is the thing I have talked to several people that have used the hardware calibrate. And once that have calibrated there Monitors the Unit sits on the shelf. I'm just looking for something to get my both LCD monitors to look the same. I'm running a geforce 7600GT with dual dvi outputs. The software lets me running different profiles on each monitor, so my question is should I go with the spyder2 suite or the hueyPRo.....they both run about the same price.............

Which would be the best bang for the buck.?

Will Crocket pretty much slams the Spyder gear in his writeup at the Shootsmarter site. Here's the article. You may have to login first (it's free) before you can read it:

In all fairness, there are folks on this forum who've had wonderful experiences with the Spyder gear and otherwise. I have zero experience with the Spyder gear myself, so I cannot comment on his article, although I believe he tries to be impartial in his reviews. Again, he's big on the Gretag Macbeth Eye One devices. He has an article on them too.

Ok The Brown truck was here yesterday, with my new Huey Pro. I can't believe my colors were off that far. Not sure if they right but my dual monitors are dead on. Before I had a problem with one monitor looking a little yellow. Its hard to say if the photos posted here look like the way they look on my monitor. Guess I just have to get use to the new look....:)

Glad to see the hueyPRO set up your dual monitors bckane. I've been quite pleased with the results from mine. Kinda makes you wanna go back and redo all your previous work uh?
