I plan to use pocket wizards to fire my 580ex off camera. I want to use the light stand linked below. Can someone please explain a high quality way to attach the 580ex to this light stand. I do not want cheap suggestions. Thanks!

Here you go. If this is too cheap for you, you could have it gold plated.

Thanks for the reply! $16.99 makes me wonder about quality... anyone have other options?
Also would a different stand work better for what I'm trying to do?

That stand would be fine for your flash and an umbrella. But if you want to use studio strobe and soft box, you would probably want a sturdier stand.

I use a light stand with a normal umbrella adaptor and screw the top of the stand into the underneath of the little stand that comes with canon flashes.
