this bird was hanging around with a bunch of goldfinches, which makes me question if my ID is correct?

Whoa Nancy, looks like you got the 40D dialed in. Nice shots and I can't help with the ID. Did you use the tripod?

no - this was another drive-by shooting! I was iin the convertible today, which gives me more wiggle room than the Jeep Liberty I usually use. Don't know why some shots work and some don't. (well, I actually do know that, but prefer to ignore my stupidity most of the time). It helped that this bird was pretty close to me, and not worried about the car.

Nice pictures! I think it is a Palm Warbler. But I could be wrong.
