Aaron, tje black and white looks best here but I really think it needs to be in color. Use as long of a lens you have and make the background as wide as possible (we can see where the background stops and your room starts). Dark room and only light the egg/background. That way when we see the edges of the egg they'll be dark.

Give that a shot.

#4...clean the table and shoot again with a smaller DOF if you have it.

#4 would be my choice as well for a setup but not sure a smaller DOF would help. I like the shallow DOF on the table as it is. I'm thinking #4 was shot with a wider focal length than the others because I still see the reflection of your whole room (and more than the other eggs). A longer focal length will help with that.

I think #3 is the best "as is", but the idea in #4 has the most potential.

I just bought my mom a glass paperweight this weekend... I think that makes 5 I have gotten her now. She just really likes them. Good images but not sure the egg carton works for me lol. #1 and 2 are my favorite.

Thanks for the responses. #4 kills me because of the dust on the table. I'll have to shoot it again with all of your tips. Thanks, Aaron
