Can someone please advise which A4 photo quality printer would be the best choice for Event Photography?.
We need 2 or even 3 printers possibly all printing at the same time that will give good results, but must be quick to print and good on ink costs.
Printing A4 and A5 glossy prints.
Any advise would be appreciated.

For speed and quality, that probably leaves you with one choice, a Canon i990.

I am in the states, so I am guesstimating that A4 is similar to our 8.5"x11". In which case it seems to me that Digital Phot magazine (I beleve it is a British publication) just did a rundown on the newest A4's out. Pick it up and see how they rated. I know for sure they did an A3 article in April. That one I have.
If you are interested PM and I will scan the article for ya.

I've been looking for a printer myself for events. So fa its a tie with the Kodak 8500 & 8660 or one of these Mitsubishi models http://www.mitsubishi-imaging.com/docs/products/photo_color.asp
To get speed it seems you have to spend the $$ so I'm trying to wait until I secure an event before purchasing.
Hopefully this wii help
