Just Got my Canon i9900!

My printer arrived yesterday and I am extremely impressed! The colors are so vibrant and really jump off the paper! From what I have seen so far, the prints (I've only tested 5x7's - 2 per sheet) look better than the ones I normally order from Shutterfly!

I also can't believe how fast it is, truly an amazing printer.

I am using Canon Photo Paper Pro (High Gloss) paper right now and it is beautiful. I will be testing the 13x19 paper in the next few days!

Can anyone recommend a nice matte or semi-gloss paper for this printer?

I have been using Staples brand 13x19 matte and have been pretty happy with it. Cost about a buck a sheet.

I checked our Staples to see what paper they had in 13 x 19 and they only had Staples brand. The store manager said they had no plans to get anything else??? I've really been impressed with Canon's own glossy brands up to 8 1/2 x 11 inch but it looks like I may have to order from somewhere. does anyone have a good place to order it from?

When I checked the staples site you can buy it online here http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Browse/Sku.asp?PageType=1&Sku=509647 I just did a search for "photo paper" and then selected Canon.

I want to know more about this printer since I'm thinking about getting one later.

One thing I learned....
Nobody in my area is stocking the two new ink cartridges. I had to order them and now have a few extras of each. I'm glad I didn't wait until I ran out before I realized they would be hard to find locally.
