Don't be discouraged about the lack of replies. 'Bad' is a very subjective term. My completely honest opinion is that I don't really like the image but I think the fact that you liked it well enough to post it is great. The spark for photography has to reside in the photographer and not necessarily in the photograph. If these types of compositions please you and you are happy to shoot them, then yours is the only opinion that counts. Good luck.

No, I didn't say it was bad...it just doesn't do anything for me. Technically it's fine, good light, good focus, color/tone looks OK. The subject matter is just lacking for my tastes. Now you could run into a bunch of folks with a foot fetish who would love this shot....:lol:

Photography is about more than just technical. You saw something in this that sparked your interest. That's the art part of photography and it's very subjective. Keep shooting and posting, your idea of art and my idea of art may cross and there will be something we both really like.
