What would be a reasonable fee for shooting a church's member photo-directory with around 200 members? My guess is that there are anywhere from 80 to a little over 100 individual photos that would need to be shot (accounting for couples, families and single members).

Are you producing the books or just doing the shots? You should offer to print the books. If you charge $500 for the shoot you get $500. If you print the books and sell em for $20 each you get $4000, if everyone buys. Plus, any session fee you charge($500). Printing books is cheap online and anyone can get quality stuff made.

I need to get those details I guess. Many of the church directories I've seen are simple and not necessarily the artistic statement afforded by a nicely made photo book. I get the impression that in most cases the photos alone are procured and then layed out online or in a simple Word formatted document.
It is a baptist church in South Tampa but I'm not sure of the exact name. The referral is tentative and came from a coworker.
