The other two male Allen's that live in my backyard have graciously allowed this male to move in too. These came out the best I could hope for while shooting at around a hundredth of a second without a tripod and having to go to 800 iso. The Hummingbirds around here stay in the shade all day and don't come out to feed much as they don't have to fatten up to migrate. It's too bad they are all molting their gorgets right now, but this one looks the best out of all the three.

This is an earlier picture of one of the other males that live here, these two have been here around 5 1/2 months.

I'm also thinking about marketing a new product, a hummer sundial.

You don't need to wear a watch in the yard anymore, just look up read the time off the hummer.

Good shots Mark. I always like looking at hummers. Next time though, use the tripod. ;)
