I was just messing around with my new A80 and took these macros... im curious which one is liked better?!

WOW! These are really good. :D I like the first one better, as it seems to have more even light.

Number 2 is better. It is a restfull picture compared to number 1. Easier for your eyes!

I like #1, due to it's "depth", created by the shadowing on the coin, but overall, I'd have to say #2, cause #1's also got a few over-exposed areas. :)

Number 1 has "monster lighting" where as 2 seems to have traditional lighting from above (see highilights on top of eagles wings) and also in front. I think that with the beter overall illumination makes it more appealing.

#1 is more interesting visually, but a coin collector would get off on #2! :wink:

thanks everyone for your comments!! everyone has similar opnions to mine... first one has a "look" to it thats appealing and the second one is more true or revealing... thats why i put them both up... i went with #1 for that "Look"! :)
