After having my 10D for 2 months and 5500 pictures later, I am loving my 10D. I just wanted to say thanks to the forum members for always helping out this newbie with Qs and Cs.

Your guyes comments are cracking me up. 5500 pictures and lots of them were learning to McGyver this camera, learn various settings and so forth! Before the 10D, I had my G5 for only 2 months before making the transition to dSLR. I love it. Part of me wished that I just jumped from the Digital Elph to the 10D and skipped the G5, but the G5 was a good learning ground to shutter speed and aperture size.
What kind of memory card do you have?

I wish I could say the trend will not continue, but my first your I still went over 12k shots and now my camera eye hurts sometimes. I actually had to get my eye glass subscription changed in just that right eye. Be careful, it's an addictions that cannot easily be fixed. If it gets really cold where you live or have a rainy season, you might see a decline, but when spring rolls around you'll be right at it again.
