That's a beautiful close shot of a fine bird...How far away were you, and what lens did you use? I need a big lens....steve

I was about 2 feet away from him, he is our bird so he is got use to the camera, i was using the standard EOS 400d lense 18-55mm, as i cant afford a decent lens yet. But yeah he is a little stunner hes weighing 1lb 8oz.

My Mum is a falconer and we have 8 birds of prey, we also run a small falconry business from home.
