Is it normal for 70-200 Sigma to make noises while focusing?

I'm just wondering. I'm pretty sure it's ok, but when the range scale stops, it makes a "tak" sound. During AI servo, if the cam can't focus it does quite a bit of "tak tak tak" sounds.

I know it's not the best representation, but do you have similar issues with your 70-200 EX? Or does it focus completely silently?

It's precission focus. It just sounds a little louder when its doing more precise focus. I'll check mine today

There's a little noise - not loud, but it does make some quiet "tak-tak" noises when it is very close to focus and is making fine adjustments.
