file names on s200

I recently bought an S200. I'm extremely impress with the camera. The only thing that bothers me is the file name convention that Canon uses (eg. IMG_0054). Is there a way to chane the file name to save as the date plus file number (eg. 071802_0054). Are there any loads that can be downloaded to the camera to do this? Any help would be appreciated.

Check your users manual. I haven't used this option yet, but I remember seeing a section about customizing your file names.

Use the Arcsoft PhotoImpression instead of Zoombrowser. It comes with the camera as well and saves the files under the date it was taken
