I have a customer who wants a photo of their kid for their wall. They told me they wanted it like the FATHEAD ones.
Anyone know of a professional printing firm that does it?

Whats FATHEAD???
Have you not seen TV???? :) ---it is a lifesize image of typically sports figures--even though I think they have more now (http://www.fathead.com/)
And kids put in on their bedroom wall..........you can move it and put it on another wall---it does not hurt the paint.

MPIX.com just started offering them. They got their whole site redone with new products.

at some point in the last 11 months the OP probably found a supplier. I am leaning towards trying the new ones from MPIX though.

UM wall hogs suck ass in quality, my work did a test run with them and the end product was unusable. So my boss bought the Roland printer to do these and after doing over a couple hundred we have nothing but great results. Also mind you we are printing photos life size from nikon D70 shot in basic JPEG...the quality is pretty much amazing...If anyone needs one let me know

www.Stickyfan.com is what I use.
They use the Photo-Tex paper, have the cheapest prices, have a wholesale photographer program, and provide high-quality prints.
I tried WallHogs earlier, and Stickyfan had a much better product and faster turn around time.

hey, try http://www.wall-stars.net
they specialize in custom sports wall graphics (http://www.wall-stars.net), much like fathead, only custom.
i had a coach order them for a little league team, and the parents were happy. the kids loved seeing themselves on the wall.
