gurus please help,

1. is there a way you can see the G3 LCD/viewfinder picture live on a PC monitor?
2. how to remote capture from G3? e.g if i place my G3 in my window, focussed on my bird feeder, then how do i focus on the bird and press shutter without alarming the bird?

any help appreciated.

Answering no 2, I have taken many pictures of birds from the window, I find easiest way is to close off with a curtain or a sheet and view through LCD.

I put camera on M and set focus on a branch I hope the bird will sit on next to feeder - I want a more "natural" look. I set aperture and shutter and wait and hope for best.

There is help over ways you can set G3 off if you need to be further away from camera http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31905
