I was travelling up to Newcastle with a colleague and stopped to photograph “The Angel of the North” after about three quarters of an hour he was getting very bored and asked if he could borrow my tripod so he could take a few shots with his camera :D

Short but sweet Neil. But either that tripod (Manfrotto?) is enormous, your colleague is child-size, or you're a giant :?
Thanks for posting anyway.

Tripod is a Benbo II (and it is huge)
My colleague is "full size" (but he will love you for the thought  )
I am 6' 6" (2 meters in new money)

The picture is even funnier if you imagine Neil standing beside the guy and stooping down to use the camera because he's a giant.:lol:
That is one huge tripod, but I have seen cases where I could have used one that tall. :D
