Hello Guys

I'm from Brazil and I have a problem with my Canon A70
It doesn't work in Win2003 server or Win2003 Enterprise

I need a Driver or something to use in win2003..

Can somebody help?

The Canon A70 is a consumer camera. You probably need a consumer operating system for it to work the way you expect. Win 2003 server is not a consumer operating system.

Use Linux! I havn't used a Linux server a lot but still it is better than Microsoft. Ok enough with the LINUX Microsoft debate. I would think that it wouldn't work because it is made to host things. Just get a cheap used system or by a cheap Dell. Soon you will want Photoshop and you will be editing.

That isn't what servers are made for. I would think a computer guy would know that.

To me it sounds like you're using a pirated copy of Server 2003. There is no reason why you'd need to use a server OS on workstation machine. Asides from that you don't sound smart enough technically to use the features of such an OS. The simple answer actually is..

Buy a card reader. The end.

I think Bob is right about buying a cardreader. I don't like his remark about "smart enough." Did you check the Canon web site to see if there is a driver? The dirvers included on the Canon Disk wwere useless. I downloaded my driver for Windows Millenium from the website.

Yeah I'm sorry, I would like to forgive myself for being a little rude. Before I turned into a full fledged adult without any salary, I was strapped to using illegal software to get the results I would like. But personally I think it's just wrong and goofy if a person has expensive software installed without any purpose of having it. But now I'm a junior software engineer and I can truly appreciate the effort people put into creating software, so now I have Server 2003 licensed on my server computer, photoshop, premiere pro, etc... Even though software isn't something you can actually touch, someone did have to touch some keys millions of times to make it work for you.
