I just found a 540EZ for $125.00; seller says it works fine.
Yea or nay?

Nay. The EZ flashes will only work on your 20D in fully manual mode, which means calculating exposure based on its Guide Number. You can probably find an old auto-thyristor unit that will give you automated flash for less.

Make that a definitely. Sunpak 383 Supers are $80 and Vivitar 285s are $90 BSN at B&H.

Like Jon said, nope, EZ flashes are not designed for the digital bodies.
Oh and Jon, like the new avatar. Is the second plane a camel?
